Hong Kong New "Companies Ordinance" and Subsidiary Legislation

Important: The new "Companies Ordinance" and subsidiary legislation are expected to take effect from early 2014. Before the new Companies Ordinance (CAP 622) takes effect, the existing ordinance (CAP 32) and its subsidairy legislation are still applicable. In addition, the subsidiary legislation is not limited to the five listed below. The Hong Kong Legislative Council is drafting other subsidiary legislation and all subsidiary legislation will come into effect at the same time when the new Companies Ordinance takes effect.
